Roman Abramovich Wants Grant To Replace Antonio Conte

From all indications, it is certain that Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich is making plans for former Blues manager, Avram Grant to replace Antonio Conte as Chelsea manager, according to reports.

Conte’s future at Stamford Bridge remains uncertain despite beating Manchester United in the FA Cup final to end Chelsea’s dismal season with a trophy.

It can be recalled that Conte followed up his title-winning season with a dismal second campaign in which Chelsea finished outside of the Champions League places.

The Italian has also fallen out with Chelsea’s hierarchy on several occasions over the club’s transfer policy, as well as the handling of players within the squad.

According to Daily Mail, UK, Abramovich has already identified Grant as Conte’s successor since he is an integral member of Abramovich’s inner circle.
