Pregnant Woman, 34, Accused Of Eating Police Officer’s Scrotum

A pregnant woman aged 34, stands accused of allegedly eating the scrotum of a police officer burnt during the Ibadan leg of the #EndSARS protests.

Though The Eagle could not immediately ascertain the name of the woman, but she and another male 43, suspected to have hand a hand in the gory act, had already been transferred to the Force Intelligence Bureau of the Nigeria Police in Abuja, reports NAN.

Two police Sergeants, Ajibola Adegoke and Rotimi Oladele, were among the police victims killed and set ablaze in Ibadan last month in the heat of the #EndSARS protests allegedly hijacked by hoodlums.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, SP Olugbenga Fadeyi, had confirmed the arrest of the suspects including the pregnant woman in a telephone interview today.

Fadeyi said that the suspects had been transferred to the Force Intelligence Bureau at the Nigeria Police Force headquarters in Abuja for further investigation, adding that the police would subsequently brief newsmen on the matter.

It was however gathered that upon interrogation, the pregnant woman agreed to being at the scene where the deceased policemen were burnt and dismembered.

She also agreed that she was given the penis and scrotum by the second suspect, but denied taking and eating them.

Also, the 43 year old suspect did not also deny being at the scene of the incident with other hoodlums but said it was the pregnant woman who took the body parts herself and only asked him for a towel handkerchief to wrap them in.

Ibadan, the Oyo State capital was one of the cities rocked by the #EnSARS protests with reports of shooting and killing of protesters there.

The question now is, how will the pregnant woman cope in police custody?
