Portable, Zinoleesky joins Wizkid and others in 2022 Headies Nominees list.
Fast rising stars in the music industry, Portable, Ayra Starr, Zinoleesky and others joins the likes of Wizkid, Olamide, Burnaboi and Davido in the 2022 Headies Awards Nominee list.
The Zazuu Zeh crooner Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable was nominated in the ‘Best Street-Hop Artiste’ and ‘Rookie of the Year’ categories alongside Adindu Victor AV, GodsFavour Chidozie Fave, Adelabu Alexander Magixx and Favour Ugochi Anosike Ugoccie.
Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe known on stage as Ayra Starr, Oniyide Azeez Zinoleesky, Lekan Osifeso Jnr. Lojay, Daniel Benson BNXN and Michael Adebayo Ruger were nominated in the Next rated artist category.
Top ranking artistes Wizkid, Olamide, Burnaboy, Davido, Patoranking and others also got nomination in several categories of the awards. with Wizkid claiming about 10 nominations in the award for the year. Wizkid, Davido and Burnaboy who were already nominated for the Overall most successful male artiste dominated the African Artiste of the Year category alongside Black Coffee from Nigeria with just three others Diamond Platinumz, Soolking and Aya Nakamura from other countries.
Tems, Simi, Niniola, Teni and tiwa savage were nominated for the overall best female artist for this year’s headies.
Angelina Kidjoe will also be recognised in the Headies Hall of Fame a special recognition given to individuals of African Descent, for excellence and outstanding impact to the African entertainment industry, home and abroad.

Davido, Don Jazzy, Rugged Man and 2Face Idibia were nominated for the Humanitarian award of the year category while Bose Ogulu, Sunday Are and Efe Omorogbe are to collect special recognition for excellence and outstanding impact to the entertainment industry within the year under review.
The 15th Headies will for the first time hold in Atlanta Georgia, United States of America according to the organisers.
