The Governor of Osun state, Ademola Adeleke, has commissioned the first ever dual carriageway in Iwo, describing it as a landmark project of his administration.
Speaking at the occasion, he described the coming of the dual carriageway as a reflection of his unwavering commitment to the development of the town.
He said the administration had moved beyond empty promises and demonstrated, through action, that every part of Osun deserved quality infrastructure and equal opportunities for growth.
The governor said despite deliberate attempts at slowing down the progress the administration was making, through the hijacking of its local Government allocation, that it remained focused to delivering life-changing projects across the state.

“Our mission has always been clear from the beginning, to break the chains of underdevelopment and build a prosperous Osun where no Community is left behind”, he stated.
He also took his time to appreciate the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Adewale Akanbi (Telu 1), and the people of Iwo for their steadfast support and confidence in his administration.
He also pledged continued transformation of the state in the years to come.
