It’s a lie, we did not award Nigerian skit maker Oderohiwo Joseph Efe, better known as Carter Efe, any degree, Babcock University has attested.
The university not only denied the skit maker being its student, it has also threatened taking legal action againt the performer.
This is coming on the heels of rapper, Ycee’s viral statement about an Olodo Uprising in Nigeria, with Carter Efe claiming Babcock University had awarded him an honorary certificate .
The claim, which he made during his livestream has however got the authorities of Babcock University below the belt, attracting a reaction.

In a June 29, press statement on its official Instagram page, the reputable university distanced itself from the certificate award, saying that the purported “Honorary Certificate” or “First Class Upper” didn’t originate from the institution.
According to the university, it does not issue honorary certificate and there is no specifically referenced one as “Honorary Certificate” purportedly awarded by the the institution.
