Photos: U-17 Women’s W’Cup: Nigeria Beats Dominican Rep, Faces US in Q’Final

Nigeria has qualified for the Quarter Final of the ongoing 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, after beating hosts Dominican Republic 1:0

The goal came in the 89th-minute of the 13,535 spectator-encounter, the highest-attended football match for any Dominican Republic National Team according to official records.

The Nigerian ambassadors, had, in the 15 minute made a demand for goal through midfielder, Shakirat Moshood , but the Video Assistant Referee ruled her effort offside.

The Nigerian girls are now topping Group A with 9 points, followed in that order by Ecuador, hosts Dominican and New Zealand.
