A popular high life musician, Jesse king (Buga) has taken to praying for country, Nigeria, for improved life for its citizens and the nation as an entity.
For a long time, in his Lagos residence on Saturday, the artiste, went emotional in his songs, imploring the Almighty for the best for the country.
He told The Eagle correspondent that it had become necessary to pray for the country, on account of prevailing challenges which tended to worsen during and after the corona virus lockdown.
He said the reality is that many citizens of the country had additionally been impoverished because of the challenges.
He bemoaned the high level of poverty, poverty, inflation, insecurity, high level of unemployment, businesses shutting down and so on …as evidenced of suffering on a national scale, in the song, titled
‘Naijiria dowo re’ , which in Yoruba language simple means ‘Nigeria is in your hands God’
He told our reporter after it all, that beyond everything, that the desire is for Nigeria to be good.
