Mystery Baby Born With 26 Fingers Called ‘Incarnation of Goddess’

In Rajasthan’s Bharatpur, India, the birth of a baby girl with up to 26 fingers was dubbed an “incarnation of goddess” by her family.

Reports revealed she was born with seven fingers in each hand and six toes in each leg.

Due to this mystery, she is being considered an incarnation of Dholagarh Devi, a goddess, by her family.

Doctors considered it a genetic abnormality, though. Although having 26 fingers is normal, the condition is incredibly uncommon.

Sarju Devi, the mother of the newborn daughter, is a 25-year-old lady who was 8 months pregnant at the time of delivery. Gopal Bhattacharya, the baby’s father, is a head constable in the CRPF.
