Messi & Inter Miami’s Tour Across China In Danger, Set To Collapse
Argentina-based reports indicate that Lionel Messi and Inter Miami’s China off-season tour is almost over.
The Miami Herald reports that the Herons’ trip across China is currently in peril because of possible “issues” with the promoter of their offseason tour. Messi and Inter Miami were scheduled to play Qingdao Hainiu F.C. of the Chinese Super League on November 5 and Chengdu Rongcheng on November 8.

The tour is now on hold.
Miami’s 2023 campaign came to an unfortunate conclusion for Messi and the Herons, as he sustained injuries in five consecutive games and the team collapsed without him. On the plus side, though, they might have the most intriguing foundation to work with in 2024. It will be fascinating to watch what happens now, though, given their offseason tour of China was supposed to be a major part of that.
