So, there had been prophecies that the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry, popularly known as Chosen would soon die?

That was part of the revelations of the General Overseer (GO) of the ministry, Pastor Lazarus Muoka

Speaking during the ministry’s 20th anniversary, the prophet of God said, it was a few years after the ministry had come on board that people prophesied that chosen would die soon.

He however appreciated God that such wicked prophecies did not come to pass, but instead, the ministry had continued to was strong.

He likened the suffering that Chosen faced to the persecution that the early church suffered, and that some people allowed themselves to be used by the devil to distract the church.

Pastor Muoka said that Chosen which was initially rejected by people, had now become a most sought after ministry, with many branches all over the world and membership increasing day by day.

He said the progress and impact of the church was because of the peculiar mandate of God upon the church.

He said that from a modest beginning at Ilasa, that the ministry began to grow spreading to adjoining streets and neigbourhoods as if something had been injected into the air that was drawing the people.

He also said that the church was still marching forward with its mandate of to win ten billion souls to God.

“When we begin at Ilasa a suburb of Lagos the movement spread to all the street with adjoining streets and houses taken over as worship centres for the multitude that begin to come for worship overwhelmed the streets.

Like all frontline men of God in Nigeria, Pastor Lazarus Muoka has faced a lot of criticisms despite the anointing of God upon his life.

In the past, a former member of his church had associated him with crime, suggesting that Pastor Muoka, defrauded him of ₦317million over a transaction that was not documented.
