Man Takes Drastic Action On Self After Squandering Farmers’ Money

A man has taken a drastic action on himself after he squandered money meant to help farmers procure fertilizer.

The Zambian Observer identifies Manox Chishimba as 59 years and Chairman for Kitwe’s Luanshimba Farming Block.

A statement by the Copperbelt Police Commissioner Criswell Mweemba, said the man had giving hint about … himself before now, apparently overwhelmed by inability to pay back the monies.

He was reported, on 20th November 2022, to have written on his door ‘Shalenipo’ (..going away) and went missing..

The Eagle reports that on November 11, a 28 year old man from Nabvutika Township in Chipata did a similar thing to himself because he lost his friends mobile following a drink at a party.

He was identified as Emmanuel Phiri, and it was the friend who sponsored the outing.

He had called his parents to help him replace the phone, but did the unthinkable when that did not happen.

Nabvutika Township section chairperson Isaac Nyirenda, said that before doing the inthinkable, that Phiri first said goodbye to his mother on phone who refused to help him replace the lost phone.
