Man Rapes Mother In Law For Intervening During Fight With Wife

Man Rapes Mother In Law – A concerned mother in-law has a sad tale to tell: she has been raped by her son in-law for trying to intervene during a fight between him and his wife.

Not only did the man have his way, he left the 58 year old woman with serious injuries in the course of her resistance.

Pathias Ngwata, 33, from the Mukutuma area of Copperbelt Province, Zambia, has since been arrested by the police after he was caught red-handed sexually abusing his mother-in-law, reports the Zambian Observer.

Copperbelt province commanding officer, Peacewell Mweemba, narrating what happened, said the victim’s began when she heard her daughter’s cries for help.

Upon rushing in to find out what was happening, she was horrified to find her daughter being mercilessly dealt with, by his obviously strong husband.

It was not clear what the quarrel was over, but the concerned mother did her best and enabled her daughter to struggle loose, running out to safety.

While the daughter was in safety outside, she was soon to hear her mother’s desperate call for rescue.

“Her [Mother] cries for help prompted her daughter, whom she had earlier saved, to rush into the house, discovering the perpetrator in the act,” shared Mweemba.

Mweemba said the perpetrator, Ngwata, was caught in the act, engaging in sexual intercourse with his mother-in-law.

By the time was rescued, not only has she been violated, she had several injuries inflicted all over her body.

The victim displayed immense strength the report added, but it was not enough to save her from the grips of the obviously strong son inlaw.

He added that Ngwata has been taken into custody, where he awaits legal proceedings.

The case remains worrisome but The Eagle reports that

The Eagle reports that the story “Man Rapes Mother In Law”, has thrown up fresh issues of concern, like things that could trigger spousal violence.
