After weeks of deliberations, the families of Efemena Okedi, late wife of late Reggae legend, Ras Kimono have eventually fixed October 26 as her burial date.
The location is Atan cemetery in Yaba area of Lagos, a competent source told The Eagle correspondent.
The lady had died on September 23 after complaining of chest pain, leading to a fload of sympathisers to their Magodo, Lagos residence.
From the arrangements, there would be Christian wake keep on Thursday, October 25, at the Kimono’s residence, on Abiodun Bero street, Isheri Magodo, Lagos while her remains would be moved from the mortuary to the cemetery for burial the next day.
There would be a thanksgiving service at a church which name we were not able to obtain at the time of this report.
The late Efe was survived by three children, two boys and a girl.
