How Three Minors Died In A Fire Outbreak At…

On Monday, a one-story residential building in Kano State’s Kabuga Yan Azara neighborhood caught fire and claimed the lives of three minors.

According to Saminu Abdullahi, a spokesman for the Kano State Fire Service, who confirmed the event in a statement, the organization received an emergency contact at 10:40 p.m. from a man named Marwan Umar who reported a fire incident at Kabuga Yan Azara.

Firefighters were quickly mobilized from the central fire station, according to the statement, and they arrived at the location at around 10.50 p.m. They discovered a building with two flats on fire.

Punch disclosed that Ibrahim Lawan, an eyewitness who lives in one of the apartments in the building, claimed that the fire originated in the first apartment and that it quickly spread to nearby flats because the inhabitants were unable to call for help quickly enough.

He identified the victims as Fatima Isyaku, 16, Abdulsamad Isyaku, 15, and Saddika Isyaku, 6.

“All the victims were rescued unconscious but later confirmed dead, and handed over to their parents,” Lawan said.
