Honorable Akeem Ojerinde, Special Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Honorable Tajudeen Abbas on Saturday demonstrated what it means to give honour to whom honour is due.

Straight from a day-long Islamic lecture and palliative distribution to people in his community, Hon Ojerinde, accompanied by Team NANA members, went straight to pay a courtesy call on the Executive Chairman of Ifako-Ijayie local government area, Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat.

It was both a moment of acknowledgment of the job that the Executive Chairman had been doing, and a motivation to do more.

Prince Hamzat, who already had quite a number of persons waiting for one issue or another, quickly received Hon Ojerinde and his team.

It was not a time for much talks; instead, he was presented with the impressive portrait of himself, not only acknowledging the good job he had been doing in the local government, but also endorsing him for another term.

The host graciously agreed to a number of snapshots with the Hon Ojerinde team.

The Eagle reports that Hon Hakeem Ojerinde played host hundreds of persons from his immediate neighbourhood in the course of the palliative distribution and Islamic lecture.
