Football Fans Slam Ronaldo Over Comments That His Generation Was Better

Football fans are slamming former Brazilian and Barcelona International, Ronaldo, over his recent insinuation that stars in his time were better than those of the the Messi era.

He was quoted in Bee Sports thus:

“During my generation, the competition was much tougher than it is now, without wanting to speak less of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. In my day, the stars were Zidane, Rivaldo, Figo, Ronaldinho and me. It was a better generation.

Secondary the fact that that Xavi, Iniesta, Lewandowski, Wesley Snyder and other great players have not been able to win it shows how great Messi and Cristiano are.
