Ex-THISDAY Editor Joins Okpebholo’s Government

Ex-THISDAY Editor, Collins Edomaruse has joined the Governor Monday Okpebholo’s government in Edo State.

He is joining as Special Adviser, International Development Partners, The Eagle has found.

The government has already Edomaruse’s appointment, who before now had been a Fellow of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (FNGE), and also a founding member of the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers of Nigeria (GOCOP) and Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of METROWATCH.

Edomaruse, while in THISDAY, held several senior editorial positions including Group News Editor, Group Politics Editor, Deputy Editor (Daily, Saturday and Sunday titles), and Editor, Nation’s Capital/Abuja Bureau.

Popularly known as ‘General’ because of his mastery of the Defence Beat, his records in THISDAY have remained unbeaten where he ranked the best among the Editors.

Edomaruse, would thus, be bringing a wealth of experience to bear in his place in Okpebholo’s government.
