Dear Editor, Bad Condition Of The Road In Dopemu, Lagos
I am a resident in Dopemu Lagos, and I am writing to you to please use your popular medium to publicise the issue people face in my locality due to bad condition of the road.
Particularly, I want to use the opportunity to draw the attention of the Lagos state government and the local community Development Association (LCDA)
The road leading to Dopemu from Sule Street in Mangoro and Cement area is usually so congested throughout the day. Road users divert here due to too much traffic along Oshodi Abeokuta Express road.
It is the main alternative route but there are potholes everywhere on the road. Mainly during the morning hours people are face horrible situations going to their workplace.
A public School and shopping complex are situated on this road so, students, parents and businessmen get tired as they are stuck here very often in traffic.
Over two years now, governments have not made effort to improve the condition of the road.
The Lagos state government and the local community Development Association (LCDA) should do the needful for the betterment of the people, businessmen as well as the government.
