This One Is Shocking

BY OUR REPORTERS

Residents of Ogba Ifako axis of Lagos and adjoining neighbourhoods are now living with their hearts in their mouths, following bombardments by hoodlums.

Reports reaching us now indicate that there is a robbery operation on around Ifako, mentioning affected areas to include Haruna, Adeyeri, Orimolade and College Road, all within the axix.

Similar incidents had been reported days earlier and the operation is said to be carried out by the Awawa boys of Agege and the notorious One Million gang which was in the news two days ago for a similar reason.

A source told The Eagle that there were still operating around Haruna as at the time of this report, having earlier operated at Ishaga.

Currently, there is no report of any loss of life, but the residents could be seen mobilisng outside.

A source just sent in the message: “And just like the corn city situation, the residents are outside to battle with them My area’s on fire now.. one million boys dey around, they are at Haruna like this as in,  no more movement”

The source who resides in the the area mentioned Haruna, Oyemeku, College and Ishaga Axis as affected.

Sources told The Eagle correspondent that there had been incessant robbery attacks on neigbourhoods like Oke Ira and Agege, with one reported death, also this is yet to be confirmed by our correspondent.

Though the lockdown has reportedly been effective in the area, but people semed to have been pushed to the limits, especially with the extension announced by the Federal Government.

The result is that area boys and hoodlums are capitalizing on the difficulty to earn a living to carry out their operations.

Similarly, a competent source who was on essential duty told our correspondent that it was serious, she had to hole herself in almost the entire day.

She said aside the early morning exercises she saw some people observe, that many people are indoors.

Another source told The Eagle that a policeman was killed yesterday but without expatiating where and how.

The Nigeria Police are only specialized in extortion and in threatening the poor citizens with guns. Hmmm God, let thy kingdom come!
