BREAKING: Access Bank Releases Official Statement Regarding Wigwe’s Death

Access Bank has released an official statement regarding the death of its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Herbert Wigwe.

The finance giant announced his passing on their official social media pages.

The statement in part reads:”With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Dr Herbert Wigwe, Group Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings…Today, we bid farewell to a visionary leader, @HerbertOWigwe, whose passion and unwavering commitment to excellence transformed Access into a global powerhouse. “His legacy of excellence and compassion will continue to inspire us all. “Rest in peace, Herbert Wigwe. Your impact will forever be felt.”

News of Wigwe’s death broke out yesterday. Sources had said he was involved in a chopper crash in California and onboard were his wife, son and other associates.
