Atiku Reacts To Death of Access Bank CEO, Herbert Wigwe

Presidential flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has sent a condolence message to the family of late Access Bank CEO, Herbert Wigwe.

Herbert alongside his wife and son were reportedly involved in a chopper crash, leading to the untimely demise.

The news was met with shock from Nigerians at home and in diaspora.

The former vice president also shared a condolence message to the family of the deceased in a tweet posted on his official X page.

“Let us number our days.”I’m deeply saddened to hear about the unfortunate incident that led to the loss of Herbert Wigwe, Group Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings Plc, and his family.

” Indeed, Herbert Wigwe, consummate banker, education promoter, and philanthropist, numbered his days. On behalf of my family, my heart goes out to their loved ones and everyone affected by this unfortunate incident. May their souls rest in peace.”

Details surrounding Wigwe’s death are still sketchy as investigations are ongoing.
