The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Tijani Fatai, has decorated Dr Opeyemi Ojo, a medical doctor, with his new rank.
The decoration followed the latter’s promotion and upgrade from the Inspectorate cadre to Superintendent of Police.
This was done in line with the recommendation of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, and approval of the Police Service Commission for the conversion of Dr Opeyemi Ojo
The decoration ceremony was held yesterday at the Command Headquarters, Ikeja
While decorating the officer, CP Tijani Fatai congratulated SP (Dr) Opeyemi Ojo on the well-deserved elevation, describing it as a recognition of his professional competence, dedication, and invaluable contributions to healthcare service delivery within the Nigeria Police Force.
He urged the newly decorated Superintendent to remain steadfast in the discharge of his professional responsibilities, uphold the ethics of the medical profession and the core values of the Nigeria Police Force.
