Buhari’s Daughter Reacts To Father’s De-th, In Emotional Tribute

Nigeria’s immediate past president may have been interred, but the pain of his exit still lingers, as an emotional tribute by her daughter shows.

Noor Buhari, picked up her pen in a moment of nostalgic recall and left an emotional tribute for her father.

“Daddy, I’m heartbroken that we won’t get to share the moments and experiences I had planned for us, she wrote on instagram on Monday.

“I’ll always carry your memory with me

“I pray that you’re granted the highest place in Jannah, and your soul rests in eternal peace”, Noor wrote in the tribute, which also shared pictures she took together with the former Nigerian president.

The Eagle reports that the body of Muhammadu Buhari interred in his hometown, Daura, Katsina State, today amidst a solemn atmosphere.

This was preceded by an Islamic interment prayer conducted the Chief Imam of Katsina State at 5:50pm.
