The family of the late gospel singer, Aduke Ajayi, popularly known as Aduke Gold say their daughter died of cervical cancer and not fibroid as alleged elsewhere.
The stated this to allay allegations that the gospel singer died in the course of a fibroid surgery
Her death was at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan on Monday, August 12, 2024, and the news had hit many family members and admirers below the belt.
There were also mixed reactions over the real cause of death.
But coming up to respond to these and put their record straight, was her her brother, Pastor Ajayi Aderogbo.
The pastor in a video, dismissed insinuations of fibroid as cause of death of Aduke Gold.

“Whoever is saying what is not should stop it, our daughter was ill, she had cervical cancer, she was taken to UCH in Ibadan and unfortunately, she died. The information spreading around is false”,
