Man Utd Handed Major Injury Boost As Hojlund Return To Training Ahead of Galatasaray Clash

Rasmus Hojlund has returned to training ahead of Manchester United’s crucial Champions League fixture against Galatasaray on Wednesday.

With the return of star striker Hojlund to training on Wednesday, United have a significant boost ahead of their trip to Galatasaray. The Danish forward was sidelined for the weekend’s away match against Everton due to a knee injury he sustained against Luton Town prior to the international break. According to the official United website, Brazilian winger Antony was seen back at Carrington on Tuesday with Hojlund after missing the match on Merseyside due to an injury sustained during training.

After a lengthy injury layoff that ended last week, Luke Shaw may make his Champions League debut on Wednesday. Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo, who both had outstanding performances in the team’s victory over the Toffees, were spotted training with the team.

Hojlund has five goals in four appearances in the Champions League, despite United’s dismal performance thus far. In addition, he and Atletico Madrid attacker Alvaro Morata share the overall scoring lead in the competition. The Denmark international scored one goal against Bayern Munich and two braces each against Galatasaray and Copenhagen.

Erik ten Hag’s team can no longer afford to lose games if they are to advance to the knockout stage after winning just once in their opening four games. The victory over Everton will provide them much-needed motivation going into their Wednesday matchup against the Turkish powerhouses.
