Free Surgery For Those With Eye Problems Here

Do you have eye problems and would require free surgery because of the high cost of obtaining treatment? Then this might just be the opportunity that you are waiting for, especially as the gesture is coming off the philanthropic sleeves of a non-governmental organisation (NGO).

The Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Mangal foundation has commenced free surgery for those with eye problems as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSO). If was inaugurated in 2016, and has been bankrolling treatment and surgery for people with such health challenges as hernia, hydrocele and eye problems.

The current gesture however is for those in Katsina State suffering eye problems. A member of the board of trustees of the foundation, Mr Hussaini Kabir, said over 500 patients with different eye problems were screened during a recent screening exercise in the state.

“Those patients that need surgery, we refer to a series of investigations, today we have commenced the exercise.

“In our office we used to register people with such health problems, any time the exercise commenced, we used to call them.

“And we used to make announcements through Radio or television, so that the public should be aware.” “The foundation is exclusively for empowerment, development, educational, charitable purposes and supporting the poor and vulnerable in the area of healthcare and economic skill”, he told journalists.
