RSM International (“RSM”), regarded as the world’s sixth largest network of independent audit, tax and advisory firm, has announced the appointment of Stransact, a fully independent Nigerian firm of chartered Accountants, as its new correspondent firm in Lagos, Nigeria.
Announcing the appointment in an interaction with the media in Lagos, a Stransact team of Eben Joels, Victor Athe; Abayomi Salawu and Bolaji Mogaji expressed optimism that, with RSM international having a country presence and office in Lagos, Nigeria. the latest alliance would mean far better service delivery to clients.
RSM, a network created from legacy firms that have been in business for over 90 years is the leading advisor to middle market leaders globally.
The network covers 107 countries and has a combined total of 35,396 employees in 700 offices.
On the other hand, Stransact is a correspondent firm of the RSM network but does not trade as RSM. Each correspondent firm of the RSM network is an independent accounting and consulting firm, each of which practices in its own right. The RSM network is administered by RSM International Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.

With a strong and growing presence in Africa, the network has member firms in Botswana, Kenya, Zambia, Mauritania, South Africa and Tanzania. However, the network typically has a correspondent firm where it does not have a full member firm such as Nigeria and Ghana.
