Sir/Madam, Poor Infrastructure In My Neigbourhood In Ibeju-Lekki

I wish to bring to your notice the deficiency in social amenities in my vicinity in Ibeju-Lekki area, Lagos.
I live at the extreme part of Ibeju-Lekki, a local Government Area of Lekki Lagos State, and the Administrative Centre was formally at Akodo and was later moved to Igando Olojo due to the creation of Lekki Council Development Area.
The demographics of the area include Yoruba speaking natives although there are lot of people from different parts of the country. Among the newly developed areas of Lagos State, this axis has been an abandoned space void of basic social amenities.
Infrastructure has been as the basic structures and facilities necessary for a country or an organization to function efficiently for example; building, transport, water, energy resource, and administrative system – Owing to this definition, my residential area is nothing to write home about.
I begin with the Administrative System: Known to be a fast developing area, government presence is not felt in any way.
In Security of live and properties
In recent times there was two major cases of robberies – no security agents to intervene. The people have resorted to self help in handling their problems.
Power Situation:
The incessant noise of generating sets has become an annoying companion. The epileptic power supply has been a challenge crumbling commercial activities..
Water Supply:
Water is termed life but I wonder if this saying is always true. The residents of Ibeju-lekki are accustomed with bitter experiences when it come to the availability of clean and drinkable water. They rely on water vendors for their daily supply of water.
The Government whose sole responsibility to provide this amenity has failed to do so. All the water pipes are damaged and no hope for repairs. Forcing the the people to use their hard earned money to buy water after paying their Taxes.
Transportation
The road network is a sorry sight. On a daily basis residents stay in traffic two to three hours even within the same location. It has been a horrible situation getting worse each passing day.
Everyone in one way or the other is stressed out. The authorities are yet to identify with their pains. We urge you Sir/Madam to please use your good office to notify the relevant authorities to come to our rescue.
