As the countdown continues to the FIFA World Cup 2026, the 48 participating nations have been busy fine-tuning preparations with a string of pre-tournament warm-up matches.
Co-hosts Mexico kicked off an extensive slate of international outings, as they downed Ghana 2-0. Every nation at the tournament will play at least one official lead-up fixture to help settle selection issues and tweak tactical concerns.
