Who is this presidential aspirant called Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo? This obviously has been the question on the lips of many Nigerians in the recent. And the reason is not far-fetched, but flows from the doggedness and astuteness with which the man in question has engaged the Nigerian public place in the recent.

He had been very proactive in presenting his perspectives of those issues that daily dodge Nigerian minds,  in a manner that reassures even doubting Thomases that there indeed is hope in the land.

In this write-up, we present a guiding perspective of this politician of the moment, called Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo.

FULL NAME :  Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo

FAMILY COMPOUND:-Ile Iyalode, No 17, Leslie, Ilaro, Egba, Yewa South, Ogun State

FAMILY ROOTS:- Omo Adebisi… son of Ojenike, Immediate past Iyalode Of Ilaro, Ogun

YEAR OF BIRTH:  20/07/1980

POSITION IN THE FAMILY: The last born of 11 children in the family, the last born of the father and first son of the mother.

PECULIAR GROWING-UP EXPERIENCE:

Due to nature of mother’s business, was usually on the move with her to wherever personal enterprise took her. He thus had the privilege of living in different places at different times, thereby being exposed to the diversity of cultures.

At some point, he lived with the Proprietor of his Primary School, Mr. Alex Adebayo, later, Alhaji Oriaran (Muslim Father) and also Alhaja Kehinde Isiaka under whom he learnt Arabic studies.

Later also lived with Chief Isiaka Awise of Ibadan Land, a renowned traditional healer by the standards of that time.

SCHOOLS ATTENDED: Christ Power Nursery and Primary School;  Methodist Grammar School Elekuro Ibadan, for First School Leaving Certificate and Junior Secondary School Certificate respectively, and later, Epetedo High School, Lagos Island obtaining his O’level certificate.

Has an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Mass Communication from the prestigious Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba Lagos, and currently enrolled for the institution’s Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mass Communication.

COUNTRIES VISITED IF ANY:

African and Asian Countries including Cotonou, Togo, Ghana, Egypt, Dubai, Singapore.

PLACES WORKED IN AND POSITIONS:

Has been an independent businessman since 1992. Started out in his native Oyo town, hawking ice water, Kerosene, kundi (dry meat), local black soap ‘ose abuwe’ for the family to feed. In 1996, moved down to Lagos metropolis, staying is places such Isolo, Ojodu Berger, Ogudu and Iyana Oworonsoki and deepening his engagement with entrepreneurship.

MAIN REASON FOR ENTRY INTO POLITICS: To bring about a ‘New Nigeria’,  a country that would make Nigerian citizens become proud of that countries.

To fulfil my desire of helping in the enthronement of equity and transparency in public office, in such a way that the child of nobody could become somebody through a “National Transition Agenda”.

To build an egalitarian society where everyone is equal in the eyes of the Law.
