Liverpool were in danger of being late for their FA Cup third-round clash with Arsenal, leading to the club’s team bus running a red light in London.

The red was at Emirates Stadium for a heavyweight meeting between two Premier League title contenders. They found themselves caught up in traffic when arriving in the English capital, however, meaning that the odd law had to be broken.

The two vehicles that make up Liverpool’s bus convoy, which transports the team’s coaching and players, were seen on camera breaking traffic laws in an effort to get to the Emirates on schedule. The Merseyside group will likely escape punishment for their misdemeanour because there was no actual harm done.

Klopp’s team started a touch slowly after their arduous trip to Arsenal, as the home team missed many early opportunities. However, they managed to get a foothold in the match and won 2-0 thanks to goals from Luis Diaz in stoppage time and an own goal by Jakob Kiwior.

Liverpool will not have to worry about transport when they visit Fulham in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final on Wednesday. However, on January 21, they will have to make the long trip south to play Bournemouth in the Premier League.
