It is a classic case of ransom delivery gone wrong, as terrorists have abducted a chieftain of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), Comrade Bayo Fabiyi, alongside two other persons.
The shocking incident happened in Oko-Irese, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State
There, Fabiyi and the others had gone to deliver ransom items as demanded by abductors before they could release their victims.
Items taken to them included about ₦30 million, five motorcycles and three bags of rice but the team who went to secure the release of their people, ended up being ambushed.
