Al-Nassr forward, Cristiano Ronaldo continues to interact with rival supporters, with the superstar sending a feisty message to followers of Al Ain.

Monday’s AFC Champions League action featured the five-time Ballon d’Or winner. After drawing blank in a 1-0 loss, the Portuguese forward had an evening to forget. Aymeric Laporte, a former Manchester City defender, was sent off in stoppage time, and Al-Nassr finished the match with 10 men.

Ronaldo did not take the bait this time around until after the final whistle, but he was still the target of further Lionel Messi taunting from the fans after serving a one-match ban for his prior response to those jibes. Ronaldo rubbed a scarf on his crotch and tossed it back towards the crowd as he exited the pitch during a Riyadh Cup match against Al-Hilal in February.

Ronaldo was able to respond with a “see you in Riyadh” message to people who were hurling insults at him on this particular occasion as he was walking down the tunnel. He was smiling, but before things got out of control, he was still assisted to the dressing room.

On March 11, Al-Nassr will host Al Ain in the second leg of their continental quarterfinal matchup. With 34 goals this season across all competitions, the ageless 39-year-old Ronaldo is expected to have more of an influence in that matchup.
