Vicorjints International Schools Hold End-of-Year, Christmas Parties

In appreciation of the great leaps it has made in the education sector thus far, high flying Vicorjints International Schools, Ijegun held two important events in the school premises within the week.

First was a Christmas carol on December 10, followed by the 2019 End-of-the-Year party on December 11, 2019.

The twin events which were well attended by pupils and teachers, parents and guardians as well as other well wishers, urned out a memorable one for the attendees as various activitieswere showcased by the pupils.

Vicorjints has a reputation for pupil welfare, modern teaching aids as well as friendly staff and environment, key elements in effective impertation of knowledge and this has led to the impressive patronage by parents and guardians within its area of location.

Speaking at the event, the Proprietress of the school, Mrs. Amarachi Orjinta, said the time called for celebration, given what God had done for the school and all concerned with it.

She said Vicorjints had recorded an impressive growth in both number and quality despite the relatively short time of its existence.

She said in comparism to the last academic session that the school still had reasons to thank God.

“I thank God for the growth of the school unlike last year. This time around, we were able to plan for the parents party separately and the children’s party separately.

“We did this so the parents will have no issues and the children will feel free to enjoy themselves,” she said.

The administrator of the school, Mr. Joseph Agu, explained that the Christmas party was to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and the students of the school.

He stated that it was a good thing to witness such a remarkable event, adding that it was all by the grace of God.

“It is a good thing to be in such a remarkable event that happens once in a year. It is not by power or might to stay through the session.

“I thank God for seeing us through,” he said.

The school administrator who was basking in the euphoria of the event expressed satisfaction on the success of the event.

He noted that the party was better than the last one.

“This year’s party is better than that of last year. We made this one colourful unlike the one of last year.

“If I was to rate the party in comparison to last year, I would give it 90 percent,” he said.

The event was not without several fun games and dancing competitions by students who exhibited their various skills on the dance floor, while the teachers voted for who was worthy to receive prizes.

The event was not only one for the students as the teachers joined them on the dance floor who boogied it all away as the DJ dished out contemporary Nigerian songs after another to their delight.

The crust of the event was the cutting of the cake; the session caught in camera witnessed the pupils, and schools staff gathering to have a part in the moment.

There was lots of food and drinks for the children to enjoy and fun games to entertain them.

The event which commenced at 11am went on till 2pm with more fun games and dance competitions to entertain the students.

It was indeed a day of celebration and fun at Vicorjint International School, Ijegun, a most exciting way to end the academic year.
