Suleja Residents Still Devastated By Sunday Incident

Suleja residents, especially those dwelling in the Rafinsayi to Angwan areas are still devastated by Sunday incident which wreaked havoc in their neigbourhood.

Not only did the storm turn the area upside down, it reportedly claimed not less than four lives, sending shock waves throughout Niger State.

An eyewitness told The Eagle correspondent that the storm took residents by surprise, from the early hours of the day, leaving in its wake pains and agonies.

At the last count, four persons were down while several properties were devastated.

Speaking to our correspondent on the destruction, an eyewitness, Mr Jude Paulinus  said residents of the are yet to come over the incident.

He said as at the time of the interaction, that the victims’ corpses were yet to be evacuated, while some people were still missing.

Mrs Aisha Ali, who was also affected by the storm, said she found it hard to believe the extent of damage.

“I can’t believe my eyes, how is this possible? It’s like I am still dreaming” she said.

Many other victims lamented the devastation in different words.
