RE – Worrisome State Of Infrastructure In Akiode Community

It’s actually not difficult to conclude that the state of infrastructure in Akiode community is really bad. Oftentimes when I look at the state of things, it baffles me how the indigenes are actually coping.

Firstly, I will like to draw your attention to the roads, Akiode community has a very bad road. The number of potholes on the road is enough to pack your things from the environment. Also, the road is not big enough to accommodate cars, there is always traffic has a result of the tight space. However, the house owners are not helping matters too, they pack on the roadsides thereby causing a lot of discomfort to the road users.

Secondly, the street light is no more functioning, they are just there for decoration. As a result of the lack of effectiveness of the street light, robbers use this medium to perform their operations at night. Although, there are securities, yet they can’t really see the robbers just with the help of their torchlight at night. However, these robbers has caused a lot of havoc to the people in the communities thereby vandalizing their cars and removing the brain box and this is majorly as a result of the street light that is in a faulty state.

Finally, the water system in the Akiode community is nothing to write home about, the water flows for a while then it ceases for another long period of time, thereby causing the people to be looking for a different means of getting water.

However, this is really causing pain in the heart of the community members. I want to use this medium to implore the government to look into this matter, so as to restore back joy on the faces of the people.
