Police On The Hunt For Funke Akindele’s Husband, Others

For Funke Akindele and her husband, Abdul Rasheed Bello it is obviously merriment cut short, for after enjoying Saturday’s birthday bash, they are now in the wanted list of the police.

The Nollywood actress and brand idol, had stirred the social media on Saturday with postings from birthday bash at which other guests were present, and quite in defiance of the social distancing rule.

Instantly, many were displeased and the police too, leading to the arrest of the actress..

The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Lagos State on New Media, Gawat Jubril on Sunday evening said that the Lagos state government was making efforts to apprehend the husband, Abdul Rasheed Bello and others who were involved in the birthday party.

Bello was the chief celebrant of the Saturday bash, and the police has said that he could be declared wanted if efforts to apprehend him and the others do not yield immediate result.

In addition, music star Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley graced the party and the police has requested for his reporting to their station.

According to the Lagos Police spokesperson, DSP Bala Elkana, “Investigation is ongoing, efforts are intensified to arrest the remaining persons in the video, among whom are Azeez Fashola a.k.a Naira Marley and Abdul Rasheed Bello a.k.a. JJC Skillz.

“They are in their best interests urged to report at the State CID Yaba on Monday 6th April, 2020 or risk being declared wanted.”
