NIJ Begins 2024 Students’ Week ‘LOUD AM’

The long awaited Nigerian institute of journalism, NIJ Students’ Week 2024 commenced on Monday, 24th of June with a lot activities lined up.

The activities include Nij Got Talent show, Cultural day, Sports Day, Pageantry, Career day, Concert Night, Dinner and Awards Night.
This year’s edition is running under the theme: ‘LOUD AM’ a pidgin-English that translates to increase the volume.
It indicates that this year’s student’s week is expected to be fun and exciting for the students.

As usual, student entrepreneurs have risen to the occasion by taking up stands and offering a variety of services

Student’s book for slots to access spaces to sell their goods or services.
Vendors have been sighted displaying various items and services in their allocated spaces, such as jewelries, noodles, thrift clothes, zobo, crotchet accessories and many more.

For the 2024 Student’s Week, the brand owners the NIJ Students union is collaborating with various notable organizations and brands such as the Lagos Television station (LTV), Airtel, Viju, NewsCentral, Claridan TV, Mayore, TIC media network and so on.
