Need For Moleye Street Traders To Keep The Street Clean

Moleye street

I wish to be given the privileged opportunity to write about the environmental condition of Moleye Street, Alagomeji, Yaba Lagos, in terms of dirt littering the street. The traders on Moleye Street have refused to obey the rules and regulations governing keeping the street clean.

Moleye street, unlike before, is now a domain for refuse dump from far and near residents of Alagomeji, which is a result of the carefree attitude of traders.

The traders do not deem it fit to dispose dirt properly at the designated places, thereby constituting a nuisance and health risk.

In view of this uncultured act, when rain falls, the breeze carries the dirt to unexpected and inappropriate places leaving the street littered, very unkempt.

This negligent attitude of some is making many residents of Moleye uneasy, even as everal measures have been taken to curb this unruly act but to no avail.

I, therefore, request the intervention of real environmental experts on how the menace of carefree dumping of dirt in the area could be curbed.

I will be glad if this wish is acknowledged and I get a favorable response to better the street and living conditions of the residents of Moleye street.
