The Naira to Dollar exchange rate at the parallel market also known as the black market today, 12th October is set at N738/$1. This indicates an increase of N2 as the previous trading session was traded at N736/1.
In the same vein, the Naira depreciated by N7 to settle at 738.21 this morning in contrast to N731.94/$1 on Tuesday morning The Eagle observed at the Peer-to-peer segment.
The naira/dollar exchange rate at the Investors and Exporters (I&E) official window slumped by 0.46 per cent to close at N441.17/$1 yesterday, 11th October as against the N439.17/$1, it closed on Friday, 7th October. The opening indicative closed at N439.40.
In the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) foreign exchange segment, the Naira settled at N435.27 yesterday as against N434.78/$1 it concluded last week’s trading session.

Meanwhile, in the digital currency market, Bitcoin, Ethereum and four other coins recorded a bullish movement in trade after commencing the week on a bearish stance.
Bitcoin (BTC) jumped by 0.22% to settle at $19,152.14, Ethereum (ETH) jumped by 1.04% to sell at $1,298.61, Litecoin (LTC) appreciated by 1.39% to trade at $52.68, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) appreciated by 0.18% to trade at $111.9, IOTA appreciated by 0.92% to sell at $0.2624, and DSH appreciated by 2.30% to settle at $42.25.
While, Ripple (XRP) slumped by 0.25% to trade at $0.4856, and ADA fell by 0.60% to settle at $0.3941.
