BY BODE OLABISI
The backlash on popular Nigerian musician, Naira Marley following his controversial antics may not have abated.
This is because a landlord in Port Harcourt has just warned his tenants against acts and practices depictive of Naira Marley.
The anti-Malian rule was part of the new codes and regulations which the landlord of God’s House Lodge and Apartments at 34 NYSC Road, off East-West Road, in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital issued to tenants
This message which was issued recently by the landlord, and has since been causing stir amongst the tenants, reads in part: “No Marlians would be welcome in this compound, either as a visitor or as a tenant”, and this was contained in paragraph 9.
Though it was not clear what may have triggered the action, but investigations by The Eagle correspondent showed that the tenants were now watching their steps as not to attract reprisals.
Naira Marley is a Nigeria Artiste that came into limelight after he released his hit single titled Am I A Yahoo Boy.He was arrested by officials of EFCC for internet fraud and later released on bail.
All efforts to get the occupants’ side of the story were futile as no tenant was ready to fac the landlord.
