Pretending To Be Dead

A 26 year old lady, identified as Dorathy Adams has narrated how pretending to be dead, saved her from being killed by suspected terrorists.

She is among residents of Gari Ya Waye, Angwan Rukuba community, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, currently battling the trauma of yet another midday massacre.

“We started running, but they were shooting at us,” she recounted to Vanguard.

“A bullet passed close to my neck and I fell.

“I just lay there and didn’t move. They thought I was dead,” she said.

That was what spared her life, even as she narrated that the attackers shot some victims more than once.
