Man City are reportedly leading the chase for Spain international Dani Olmo amid interest from Real Madrid, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Mundo Deportivo claims that City are keeping a close eye on Olmo’s position at RB Leipzig and are the front-runners to sign the 25-year-old. They wanted to bring him on during the summer but were unable to reach an agreement with the Bundesliga team.

Additionally, according to SportBild, the player is considering a new challenge for the upcoming season and may quit the team, particularly given that clubs like Real Madrid and City are reportedly interested in signing him.

Along with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, a number of other clubs are keeping an eye on the situation, including Arsenal and Chelsea.

Olmo had no plans to leave Leipzig and signed an extension in the summer until 2027. However, it is believed that the player has had a change of heart with the European elites circling around for his signature. His contract also has a €60 million (£52m/$64m) release clause.

Olmo had an incredible start to the season, tallying five goals in his first four games, including a hat-trick against Bayern Munich in the Super Cup, before suffering a knee injury while representing Spain at an international tournament in September.
