“Lungs collapsing, eyes changing color, belly swelling, taking breathe feeling like pain. I was slipping into the dangerous sleep but mercy said no!”
Those words came from celebrity dancer, Kafayat Shafau, popularly known as Kaffy, while lamenting the loss of her dad.
Kaffi made the revelations on Tuesday via her Instagram page, narating how she also survived an ailment that almost took her life.
She shared a picture of a candle, with the caption, “#RIP DAD”, a day after she talked about how she survived from a fatal ailment via same platform.
“Lungs collapsing, eyes changing color, belly swelling, taking breathe feeling like pain. I was slipping into the dangerous sleep but mercy said no!”, she wrote.
“Thank you God for another chance. A lot don’t make it through these avoidable deaths. I am not better than them , I am grateful for your mercy. “Not today, said the Lord.”
“Be careful some medication can be lethargic to your system there are allergies we might not know of. God protect you all”, she said, according to a report in the Punch on the celebrity dancer.
Born born 30 June 1980, Kaffy is notable dancer, choreographer, dance instructor and fitness coach. She is the founder and owner of Imagneto Dance Company, and the brain behind the Longest Dance Party” at the Nokia Silverbird Danceathon in 2006, which has since given her a place in the Guinness Book of Records.
