Lagos Sunshine Lions’ Club Presents Awards to Organisations, Individuals

The Lagos Sunshine Lions’ Club of District 404B2 Lions’ Clubs International on June 11, recognised organisations and individuals with awards presentations.

Among the recipients was Societal Concerns for its programmes of impact in society, as well as officially inaugurated Chapter President and officers for the year 2022/2023 into the lion service.

The glamorous event held at the Presken Reliance Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos State.

The Governor of the Lions’ Clubs International, District 404B2, Lion Ayanlekan Owolabi officially presented the new charter President of Lagos-Sunshine Lions’ club. Lion Ipaye Oluwatoyin Omotola to be effective from July 1st, 2023 according to the global Lions’ Clubs ethical codes of conduct.

Thereafter, President Lion Ipaye also presented an Appreciation Award to ‘Societal Concerns‘. a community service organisation that focuses on youth and social development.

The Award was  presented to the Immediate Past District Governor, Lion Kayode Oshinuga, Lion Oluwayomi oluwapelumi jegede and other recognised dignitaries  during the Charter Presentation and Installation of other Club Officers on June 11th, 2023.

The occasion was presided by The Governor, Aare lekan Owolabi.

The Immediate Past Governor, Lion Kayode Oshinuga congratulated the Lagos-shine Lions club, wishing her members a successful year.

In an interview with the District Governor of the Lions Clubs International district 404B2, Lion lekan Owolabi said  ‘aside from the Lions Clubs Internationals’ vision, we also have our ethical code of conduct that guides us, and if all the people in the world can imbibe the code of conduct, there will be peace across the world’.

In an appreciation to every attendees, the charter president Lion Toyin Omolola pleaged to execute impactful humanitarian services. Saying that the vision of the club is about humanitarian service and to build on humanity.
