Jamal Musiala has praised Bayern Munich teammate Harry Kane and hinted that they’ll be linking up for many years to come.

Following Harry Kane’s summer transfer from Tottenham, Musiala has praised the partnership he has developed with the striker. The England captain has established ties with players like Leroy Sane and Musiala on the field while scoring 25 goals in 22 appearances for Bayern this season. Musiala, 20, has shot down the notion of leaving Bavaria, despite rumours that Real Madrid and Manchester City are interested in recruiting him.

Musiala said: “With Harry Kane, we have an outstanding goalscorer with whom I can combine very well, and our management is working on extending the contracts of important players and further strengthening the team.

“My contract runs until 2026, so everything is very relaxed. I feel very comfortable at FC Bayern at the moment, in the team and under Thomas Tuchel.”

Musiala, who is only 20 years old, played in his 100th Bundesliga game during Bayern’s victory against Wolfsburg in the middle of the week. With five goals and three assists in 18 appearances in all competitions this season, the London-born Germany international seemed destined for a great career.

Following the winter break in the Bundesliga, Musiala and Kane will try to propel Bayern to the summit of the standings. Despite having played one extra game, Bayer Leverkusen now leads the group with four points. February 10 will see the meeting of the two title favourites.
