Ikeja Electric Consumers Get New Meter Prices

Electricity consumers under the Ikeja Electric jurisdiction, now have new meter prices, N124,000 for the single-phase meter, and N215,000 for the three-phase meter.

The new meter prices were announced by New Hampshire Capital, a leading Meter Asset Provider, under the Meter Asset Provider scheme for Ikeja Electric.

The company explained in a statement that the prices are inclusive of meter installation costs, in the pursuit of transparency and affordability.

“Our mission is to empower consumers with the tools they need to manage their electricity usage effectively” says Chief Operations Officer of New Hampshire Capital, Oluwakemi Omirin.

“By offering these meters at an accessible price point, we are taking a significant step towards addressing the huge metering gap in the country”, she added in the statement, even as the new prices would remain valid from August 6 to October 6, 2025.

The statement described New Hampshire as a reliable metering partner with Ikeja Electric, adding that it had thus far, financed and installed more than 190,000 prepaid meters under the MAP scheme.

Observing that the company’s prepaid meters are known for their durability and accuracy, Omirin advised customers of Ikeja Electric wishing to procure their meters to visit the DisCo’s website and follow the steps outlined under the MAP scheme.
