Ifeanyi: Autopsy Report Out, Reveals Cause Of Davido Son’s Death
Ifeanyi, the son of Nigerian music artist Davido and his fiancée Chioma Rowland, drowned to death, according to an autopsy performed by the Lagos State Police Command.
The three-year-autopsy old’s was completed on Friday, but the investigation is still underway, according to Benjamin Hundeyin, the public relations officer for the Lagos State Police, who spoke with reporters on Saturday.
He said; “The autopsy has been concluded and it’s confirmed that the boy drowned. It was concluded yesterday but the investigation is still ongoing.”
A reliable source also confirmed the development, performing an autopsy in this situation is routine procedure for the police. The source added that if the departed family members objected, the police would abstain from the action.

“Though the family members are not saying anything yet because they are still in shock but until anybody says stop, the standard procedure is to conduct an autopsy and we are going to follow that procedure just like in any case of death,” the source said.
Explaining further, the source said out of the eight domestic workers interrogated by the police in connection with Ifeanyi’s death, the cook and nanny, whose job was to cater for the wellbeing of the three-year-old boy, had been detained for reasons including the failure to uphold the duty of care of the minor.
Recall, Eniola Badmus, a well-known Nigerian actress and close friend of the musician, tweeted on Monday to inform the public of Ifeanyi’s passing.
Davido and Chioma have remained silent about the event, but Sina Rambo, the celebrity singer’s cousin, has broken his silence on the passing of his three-year-old relative.
