I will Review Past Activities of The DSS, Says New DG

indications that the activities of the immediate past dispensation at the Department of State Services (DSS) may be probed has emerged.

The indication was given by the newly appointed Acting Director-General of the Department of State Services, Mr. Mathew Seiyefa, in Abuja today.

He promised to review past activities of the agency, which he said must have affected its perception by the public.

He also said he had yet to be briefed on the detention of the former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd).

Seihefa’s resolve to review the past activities of the agency, may not be unconnected with the recent incident which led to the sacking of his predecessor.

The development is perceived in many quarters as a clear indication of cases of insubordination, which has affected seamless operation of the security aparati in the country, equally maligning the image of the government.

Seiyefa spoke at a media briefing at the national headquarters of the agency in Abuja on Thursday, details of which we would serve you shortly.
