Husband’s Dwarfism: ‘Doctor Advised Me To Get Pregnant Outside –Nkubi’s Wife

Nigerian actor Victor Nwaogu, popularly known as Nkubi, and his wife, Vivian, have recounted a clear case of decimation against dwarfism in the country.

She said this followed her presentation of her scan results to a doctor, who inquired about a family history of dwarfism.

Vivian said it was to the point that a doctor advised her to go get impregnated by a man outside rather than her husband because of his disadvantaged growth

Recounting these in an interview with Pulse One-on-One, she stated:

“When I did my anomaly scan and handed it to the doctor, he was like, ‘Does anyone have a trait of dwarfism in your family?’ Then I said, ‘Yes. It is my husband.’”

“The doctor reportedly asked, ‘Why didn’t you go to your brother-in-law or even go outside to get pregnant instead of getting pregnant for your husband, or even get a sperm donor?’

“And yes, that is what a doctor told me. They are not giving equal rights in this country at all,” she said.
